About

Abdul-Salem Beibitkhan

I am a researcher and recent Computer Science graduate from North American University (Houston, TX), currently based in College Station, TX. My work spans natural language processing, machine learning, and cybersecurity — with a growing interest in data-centric AI and how training strategies shape what models actually learn. I recently published my first paper benchmarking LLM performance on low-resource languages, with ongoing work in network security and post-quantum cryptography.

Beyond NLP, I am drawn to fundamental questions about how intelligent systems build internal representations of the world — including alternatives to next-token prediction paradigms and the role of data quality and curriculum in shaping what models actually learn.

I am currently working as an educator at Harmony Science Academy - Bryan while pursuing research independently, and am planning to apply to CS PhD programs with a focus on machine learning and data-centric AI.
